Schedule: Weekend Shifts Only

  9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

About the Role

Are you looking for a meaningful part-time opportunity where you can make a real difference in someone's life? Join our team as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) and support individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving greater independence and quality of life.

As a DSP, you will play a vital role in assisting with daily living tasks, promoting safety and wellness, and building positive relationships with the individuals you support.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, hygiene, and dressing
• Support with shopping, menu planning, and meal prep
• Transport members to appointments, recreational events, and community outings
• Provide supportive counseling and life skills coaching
• Maintain clean, organized living environments and help with health/safety routines (fire drills, etc.)
• Communicate effectively with families, team members, and supervisors
• Complete required documentation and ensure compliance with regulations
• Participate in social activities and community integration
• Attend mandatory training sessions and staff meetings
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• Valid driver's license and reliable car for work use
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• ♥ Passion for helping others and making a difference
• Willingness to attend mandatory paid orientation and ongoing training outside of scheduled shifts
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus, but not required
