The Opportunity with McKinstry

We are adding a Senior Energy Operations Program Manager to our dynamic team growing our ActiveOps work in Tampa, FL. The Senior Energy Operations Program Manager will lead technical project delivery across complex multi-offering projects within the Technical Services business. In this role, you will influence cross functional teams in the planning, discovery, and implementation of ActiveOps services for clients to improve energy, commissioning, maintenance, and operational efficiency of facilities. This position will play a key role in the ActiveOps program evolution and provides subject matter expertise support to business development. Additional responsibilities include:

• Ensure effective project delivery from initial project opportunity identification through stabilization of ActiveOps services.
• Plan program and project milestones and schedule for implementation.
• Establish program goals and Key Performance Indicators to meet client needs.
• Ensure client satisfaction with project and program transitions.
• Oversee program and project evaluation, collecting feedback to incorporate into best practices and program evolution.
• Own project performance through the turnover of operations.
• Serves as a primary point of contact with the customer during project implementation.
• Acts as a steward of all company policies and procedures.
• Responds to stakeholders with accurate and timely information to facilitate company decision-making.
• Exercises global decision making by considering other departments within the company such as project management, sales and estimating, accounting, purchasing, etc.
• Ensures projects are completed on schedule.
• Works with a large client base including the owner and business leaders for the company.
• Takes ownership of projects as assigned by Operations Director.

What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry

• 10-15 years of relevant experience with commissioning, mechanical systems, and construction management.
• Expertise in achieving successful owner outcomes through program and project management.
• Expertise in communication/teaming/internal and external stakeholder engagement.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience.

The pay range for this position is $114,210 - $173,610 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay information is based on market location. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
