Principal Trade Compliance Analyst

Job Description

• Provides advanced expertise for Trade Compliance export and import activities, acting as a trainer / mentor of Trade Compliance Analysts and Specialists.
• Acts as a lead in the classification of products for export and may be involved in applying for export licensing.
• Ensures compliance with applicable regulations, and releasing export compliance-related holds on shipments after all Trade Compliance requirements are satisfied.
• Maintains working knowledge of all applicable export / import regulation, providing updates to management regarding current and pending compliance regulation initiatives and legislation that may affect company business, ensuring various registrations with government agencies are kept up to date as required by regulations.
• Supports Customer Service, Supply Chain, Engineering and other business functions with Trade Compliance issues, such as Export License Determination and End User documentation.
