Travel Contract - Surgical Technician - Endoscopy

Shift: 6:00AM-3:00PM

Hourly pay: $31.22

OT: 1.5

Weekly Pay: $1,171

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Performs direct patient care duties, including assisting physicians during procedures.
• Assists in the day-to-day operations of the department.
• Maintains required clinical knowledge, technical skills, equipment, training, and credentials.
• Adapts to change in a positive constructive manner.
• Ensures cleanliness and/disinfection of endoscopes while maintaining quality control measures.
• Performs other related duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• BLS and ACLS
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• The ability to stand for extended periods.
• Strong technical skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Passionate about patient care
• Requires a minimum of two years of current Surgical Tech Endoscopy experience.
• Graduate from a fully accredited Surgical Tech program
• Active unencumbered Louisiana Surgical Tech state license
• One year of Epic experience
• Preferred - Certification in surgical technology.

Requirements
• COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.
