Responsibilities

The Surgical Tech works under the supervision of the Charge Nurse and nursing staff while performing a variety of activities providing support for nursing staff within surgical services. Performs a wide variety of housekeeping duties to include but not limited to cleaning, disinfecting, and organizing operating rooms between surgical procedures, replenishing inventory when needed, and helps to keep other areas sanitized as needed

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Graduation with a high school diploma.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Qualifications

• Time management skills.
• OR experience serving as an OR Assistant.
