Scala Developer

Our client, a leading technology organization specializing in internet-based television services, is seeking a Scala Developer to join their team. As a Scala Developer, you will be part of the Backend Video Services team supporting the development of client-facing REST APIs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title : Scala Developer

Location : Greenwood Village, Colorado

Pay Range : $70 + an hour

What's the Job?

• Develop and maintain scalable backend microservices using Scala and related technologies.
• Design and implement REST APIs to support IP TV functionalities such as entitlement verification and parental controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system performance and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, providing timely resolutions to incidents.
