Professionalism - Speaks, dresses, and portrays a confident and professional image (physically and verbally) that reflects the professional expectations of the company. Can communicate verbally and in writing in a professional manner. Computer Skills - Is experienced and comfortable using a computer and internet-based programs such as e-mail, spreadsheets, calendars, etc. Is accurate with typing, spelling, and enters data accurately. Attitude - Is upbeat, energetic, friendly, cheerful and displays a positive and determined attitude. Smiles. Has a good sense of humor, and is a pleasure to be around. Time Management - Has the skills to work efficiently, prioritizing responsibilities and managing time effectively to insure the job gets done. Job Description
Merry Maids in Newport News is looking to expand their office team. This position is a leadership position for a self-starter with a strong work ethic, excellent customer service and time management skills, employee coaching / development skills, and strong leadership qualities. The right candidate must be available to work Monday thru Friday from 7 : 00A - 4 : 30P, and willing to put in extra time if needed. You must have a positive attitude and an exceptional work ethic. This is a fast-paced environment, best suited for high energy individuals that are quick learners and have the ability to multitask. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for longevity and growth with a company.
Responsibilities
- Open and close office Monday through Friday.
- Recruit, hire, and supervise a staff of 20+ cleaning technicians.
- Ensure all daily operations are carried on in an efficient, cost-effective way keeping high customer satisfaction.
- Training and on boarding of new team members
- Daily schedules of customers and employees
- Answering phone calls and conducting phone sales
- Build strong and positive relationships with cleaning staff
Skills and abilities needed :
Compensation : $31,000-36,000 based on experience
