Job Title: Radiologic Technologist – X-Ray (Mobile)

Location: Bakersfield, CA
Employment Type: Permanent | Full-Time
Shift Type: Varied (AM / PM)
Hours: 8 hours per shift


Position Summary

We are seeking experienced and motivated Radiologic Technologists (X-Ray) to provide mobile diagnostic imaging services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other clinical settings in the Bakersfield, CA area. This role offers autonomy, variety in daily work, and the opportunity to deliver essential diagnostic services directly to patients.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and process diagnostic X-ray exams using portable Digital Radiography (DR) or Computed Radiography (CR) equipment.
  • Transport, unload, and maneuver portable X-ray equipment into healthcare facilities to complete physician-ordered exams.
  • Ensure all images are clinically diagnostic, technically accurate, and properly submitted to radiologists for interpretation.
  • Perform EKGs as required and transmit results to cardiologists for interpretation.
  • Accurately scan and submit exam-related paperwork and billing documentation daily per protocol.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, management, and clinical teams.
  • Maintain professional interactions with peers, supervisory staff, and facility clients.
  • Ensure proper care, maintenance, and cleanliness of X-ray equipment and assigned vehicle.
  • Comply with all safety, operational, and regulatory requirements.


Work Schedule & On-Call

  • Varied shifts (AM/PM); full-time schedules available.
  • Weekend work may be required based on case load and will be compensated as overtime.
  • On-call responsibilities required; details discussed during interview.


Required Qualifications

  • ARRT Certification (required)
  • Active California State Radiologic Technologist License (limited licenses not accepted)
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing.
