Responsibilities Configure and customize Guidewire PolicyCenter and support integration with BillingCenter Support development, enhancement, and maintenance activities across environments Participate in estimation, solution design, use case development, and technical reviews Review requirements, test plans, and test cases to ensure quality delivery Handle production support issues, defect analysis, and root cause resolution Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and quality guidelines Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-quality solutions Lead development efforts when required and mentor junior team members Debug complex issues and recommend system and process improvements. Required Skill Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration experience with mandatory SBT knowledge / exposure Strong expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration and integration with BillingCenter Guidewire ACE Certification in PolicyCenter Configuration Hands-on experience in development, production support, and maintenance of Guidewire BillingCenter applications In-depth understanding of out-of-the-box features of PolicyCenter and BillingCenter Experience with source control and CI / CD tools such as GitHub or TortoiseSVN and Jenkins Proficiency in defect tracking and work management tools like JIRA and Azure DevOps Strong SQL skills for query design and troubleshooting Experience working with Agile methodology and release management processes Hands-on experience with SOAP and RESTful web services, along with XML, XSD, messaging, and plugin frameworks Strong understanding of the full SDLC including requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, configuration management, change management, and quality processes Solid understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery practices Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field Desired Skill Good understanding of Property and Casualty insurance business Experience with performance tuning and database optimization Experience with Insurance Application Architecture IAA model Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities Ability to work collaboratively across teams and gather business and technical requirements.
