Senior Manufacturing Engineer, Prototype Machining

Xometry is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer Prototype Machining with a strong eye for detail and mechanical aptitude who will operate and program CNC machinery to accurately and efficiently manufacture high-quality parts.

Duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to :

• Reading specifications on blueprints and mechanical drawings and ensuring they are met.
• Setup program and operate CNC Mill and Lathe for prototype / production part runs
• Be able to run tests on machines to check machine outputs according to specifications and adjust as necessary.
• Design fixtures and manufacture them as needed
• Examine and maintain machinery regularly to ensure functionality.
• Supervise machines during execution and make any necessary adjustments to manufacture a better result.
• Inspect completed parts and compare them to the specifications and requirements of the blueprint to determine if the process was properly completed.
• Performs all work in compliance with Xometrys quality and safety systems policies and procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area.

Required Qualifications :

The estimated base salary range for new hires into this role is $83000 - $108000 annually depending on factors such as job-related skills relevant experience and location.
