A company is looking for a Utilization Review Clinician - Behavioral Health.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate treatment for mental health and substance abuse to ensure medical appropriateness
Conduct prior authorization and concurrent reviews related to behavioral health services
Analyze member data to improve service quality and engage with providers and leadership
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's degree with 2-4 years of related experience
Master's degree for behavioral health clinicians required
State licensure as a clinical social worker, mental health counselor, professional counselor, or equivalent required
Preferred clinical knowledge of mental health and substance abuse treatment plans
Experience with utilization review processes and working with healthcare teams preferred
