Gospel Organist

Job Title: Gospel Music Organist
Job Location: Hampton VA Medical Center, Hampton, VA.
Job Type: Part Time
Qualifications:

• Proven experience playing the organ, with expertise in Gospel Music and other Christian genres.
• Ability to collaborate with others and perform in a worship environment.
• Availability for two services on Sundays and additional events as scheduled.
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor

Responsibilities:

• Perform organ music for two Sunday services (8:00 AM and 9:30 AM EST) for 53 Sundays annually.
• Provide up to 40 additional performances for special events, rehearsals, or other services as scheduled by the Facility Point of Contact (POC).
• Collaborate with the Facility POC, worship leaders, and other musicians to coordinate music for services and events.
• Provide organist sessions of the Gospel Music genre in addition to other Christian music genres.
• The Organist shall be available to perform services 2x on Sundays for 53 Sundays at 8am (EST) and 9:30am (EST).
