[job_card.job_description]Bachelor's degree with appropriate accounting hours Knowledge of payroll preparation and payroll tax reporting Knowledge of general ledger review and financial statement preparation General understanding of accounting procedures Experience with QuickBooks, Pak Energy, or Sage Intacct is a plus Authorized to work in the United States permanently without the requirement of sponsorship CPA candidate preferred Display problem-solving skills and effective, insightful, and timely communication skills Maintain a high level of organization Take the initiative to be a team player, maintain a positive attitude, and develop trust with the team Ask open-ended questions and seek continuous feedback; hold self accountable for service quality, thoroughness, and accuracy Meet charge hour and realization expectations for each job, consistently producing a high-quality work product Maintain a working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite products and other firm software Work autonomously under the pressure of tight deadlines and multiple priorities Retain learning / knowledge from one client to the next; continuously apply and build on prior learning Interact and collaborate with Managers and Partners Learn more about the various service lines - what we offer as a firm Attend CAS department meetings and training Seek to understand the comprehensive accounting process Take initiative, seeking exposure to more complex clients and projects Seek exposure to multiple teams / people / work styles from which to learn Read journals / publications and internal professional publications Networking : community and professional organizations, alumni programs, etc.
Summary of Job Duties
Condley and Company, LLP is hiring a Senior (2+ years experience) for its Client Advisory Services (CAS) department.
CAS staff with Condley and Company receive hands-on training, work closely with other members of the CAS team, and gain experience with diverse projects and clientele from week one. As you engage with clients' accounting situations, you will have the opportunity to provide peace of mind to our clients and value to their businesses.
CAS staff :
- Review payroll, accounts payable, payroll tax reports, sales tax reports, general ledgers, and other related accounting services tasks
- Organize work papers, maintain an open items list, and conduct a self-review of their work before submission to the reviewer
- Analyze and interpret detailed information and research according to client circumstances
