The Claiborne at Baton Rouge is looking for a compassionate and dependable Life Enrichment Assistant to join our Baton Rouge team.
In this role, you’ll help create meaningful moments for our residents every single day.
From group activities to one-on-one visits, you’ll play a key part in making our community feel vibrant, welcoming, and alive.
This is more than an activity’s role.
It’s about helping our residents feel seen, valued, and engaged.
What You’ll Do
- Support and help lead engaging group and individual activities
- Set up, organize, and assist with daily programming
- Encourage participation and build genuine relationships with residents
- Provide companionship and positive interaction throughout the day
- Help create a warm, uplifting community environment

What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with older adults preferred
- Understanding of cognitive and physical changes associated with aging
- Strong communication and people skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Clear driving record and valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
