ITCON Services is seeking to hire a motivated Junior Developer to join our team. The Junior Developer will work with a team of developers in a dynamic environment.

The Junior Developer will be responsible for project deliverables, including :

  • Front-end development, theme creation, and building interactive, responsive experiences
  • Backend development
  • Mobile app development
  • Drupal upgrades and migrations
  • Custom module development and implementation
  • Integration for custom functionality and third-party integrations
  • Build, CI / CD, and deployments
  • Issue resolution and troubleshooting
  • Operations and maintenance tasks

pplicant must be a permanent resident or citizen of the United States and clearable for Public Trust clearance with the U.S Government.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, candidates with Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or related field
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Collaborative and communication skills
  • 2-3 years of experience in performing web development
  • Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript building public websites.
  • Experience with development of native mobile applications for iOS and Andriod
  • Experience coding using Java or similar programming language
  • Knowledge of Node.js, React.js, Angular, and PHP
  • Knowledge of SQL / MySQL
  • Knowledge of Azure Cloud platform
  • Exposure to Drupal : Installing, configuring, and experimenting with Drupal
  • Basic knowledge of web technologies and standards : Understanding of how the web works, HTTP / HTTPS, and basic security practices.
  • Experience with Git or version control systems
  • Introduction to Composer and package management
  • Understanding the basics of APIs and data integration
  • Experience using command-line tools : Such as Drush or general terminals for developer workflows

    • Desired Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience with responsive design
  • React or Angular
  • Development frameworks like React Native
  • Knowledge of CI / CD
  • Knowledge of Docker, Rancher, Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of JIRA
  • Acquia Certified Drupal Developer
  • Azure certification
