A company is looking for a Director of Underwriting to lead a team focused on advanced underwriting techniques and strategic support.

Key Responsibilities

Strategize with clients to support sustainable benefits offerings

Partner with actuaries and pharmacy divisions for product design and pricing

Oversee underwriting for the Alaska market, including stop-loss renewals

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, or related field, or 4 years of relevant work experience

Eight years of group medical underwriting or health insurance consulting experience, including 5 years in management

Master's degree in a related field (preferred)

CEBS Designation (preferred)

Extensive knowledge of the health insurance industry and group underwriting functions
