Your Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and create tailored care protocols
• Diagnose and manage both acute and chronic health conditions, working in tandem with physicians or autonomously as allowed by your credentials
• Educate patients and families on preventive measures, wellness, and effective disease management
• Prescribe necessary medications and treatments, adhering to your scope of practice
• Engage in ongoing patient follow-ups and chronic disease management
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive and integrated care
• Maintain accurate documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• A graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner educational program

Licensure and Certification Requirements

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in Nevada
• National board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC), or an equivalent certification in your specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain these within 90 days)
