Job Knowledge & Core Competencies:

• Greet and acknowledge members and guests with a warm and welcoming smile that sets the tone for a fantastic dining experience.
• Know the ins and outs of our menu, buffet offerings, and wine list. Your foodie knowledge will be your secret weapon!
• Ace the art of timing the service of each course, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable meal for everyone.
• Be a master of personalization by learning our members' names and their special preferences. You'll be their VIP concierge!
• Show off your expertise in wines and spirits, making top-notch recommendations that leave our members with a memorable experience.
• Be ready to take the lead during emergency situations, using your knowledge to keep everyone safe and secure.

Job Summary (Essential Functions):

As a Server at Western Racquet Club, you'll be the culinary rockstar, providing top-notch food and beverage service to our esteemed club members and delightful guests.

Job Tasks/Duties:

• You'll kick off your shift by setting yourself up for success and prepping like a pro.
• The moment our members and guests are seated, you'll swoop in with immediate attention, making them feel like VIPs.
• Be the culinary tour guide by distributing menus and answering any questions with grace and expertise.
• Keep those glasses filled with ice water, and don't forget to suggest some mouthwatering menu items to our guests.
• When it's time to place orders with the kitchen, you'll pass along any special cooking instructions with finesse.
• Assemble food on trays and serve each course like the culinary magician you are.
• Checking back with our members and guests, you'll make sure they're loving every bite, replenishing water and butter as needed.
• When it's dessert time, you'll present those sweet options, suggest delectable treats, and serve up happiness.
• We trust you with the numbers! Verify the accuracy of bills, taxes, tips, and charges, and present the final bill with flair.
• Tidy up the dining room and bus station areas, making sure everything sparkles for our next happy members.
• If there's a hiccup, you're our superhero - advising your supervisor of any concerns immediately.
• Closing duties? No problem! You'll tackle them like a champ, ensuring everything is in tip-top shape for the next day.
• Pre-meal meetings? Count you in! You'll attend with enthusiasm to stay in the loop and ensure top-notch service.
• Ending on a high note, you'll thank our members and guests, inviting them to return for another amazing experience.
• You'll consistently follow local and state laws and our club's policies and procedures for serving alcoholic beverages.
