School Psychologist

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Provide psychological services in a K-12 public school setting supporting students from early childhood through middle school. The role involves conducting evaluations and re-evaluations to assess student needs and collaborating with educational teams to develop and implement individualized education plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for approximately 40-50 students across multiple self-contained and resource classrooms.
• Evaluate students in cross-categorical academic programs spanning kindergarten through 8th grade.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to analyze assessment results and recommend effective interventions.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure appropriate services and supports for students.
• Maintain detailed records in compliance with educational regulations and timelines.
• Provide consultation to teachers and families regarding student development, behavior, and learning strategies.

Qualifications:

• Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
• Experience working with diverse K-12 student populations, including self-contained and resource classrooms.
• Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and special education laws.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload of 40-50 evaluations per year efficiently.

Job Details:

• Location: Mesa, AZ metropolitan area.
• Duration: Contract through the end of May 2026.
• Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, 5 days per week.
• Caseload primarily includes students in grades K-8 within specialized academic settings.
