Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator to join our team! As a Database Administrator, you will be building databases, handling important data, and creating easy-to-access reports. You will also be coordinating with other departments, management, and stakeholders to manage data access and development. The ideal candidate has 6 plus years previous experience with database management and manipulation, strong interpersonal skills, and attention to detail. IBM DB2 Tools, DB2 monitoring and tuning for application development, perform database backup and recovery, utilize diagnostic tools for root cause analysis, accustomed to working in a global high demand environment

Responsibilities

• Create and test databases and programs, find errors, and make corrections to ensure accurate data and recording
• Create and implement procedures for data collection, addition, and analysis that ensure all data is accurate and verifiable
• Modify existing data and databases to ensure compliance with company policy and best practices
• Create and implement security measures to ensure there is no unauthorized access to databases or information

Qualifications

• Previous experience with database management and manipulation, data replication, user administration, and database architecture desired
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Attention to detail
• Strong understanding of data collection and data analysis
