Location : Remote - preferably in California

FLSA Status : Exempt

Salary range : $80,000 - $115,000

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Controls Service Technician. This role is ideal for someone looking to start a career in controls. The technician will assist in the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of control systems used in industrial and commercial environments such as : Cal Fire, Forrest Service, service bases for powder and liquid manufacturing plants.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the installation and setup of control panels and related equipment
• Perform basic troubleshooting of electrical and control systems
• Support senior technicians during service calls and scheduled maintenance
• Document service activities and maintain accurate records
• Learn and follow safety protocols and company procedures
• Travel to customer sites as needed (local / regional)
• Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicle in good working condition.
