We are seeking a Regional Risk Nurse who will help identify, develop and implement clinical service programs specific to each facilities identified within the Tennessee Region.
Essential Functions:
Demonstrate a strong ability to strategically plan, organize, and manage resources effectively to achieve exemplary regulatory and quality outcomes.
Offer on-site support to assist facility leadership in stabilizing operations and promoting progressive development.
Collaborate on the implementation of clinical programs aimed at improving the quality of care provided to residents.
Foster collaboration with facilities and market team members to ensure successful quality and regulatory compliance.
Conduct ongoing monitoring of assigned high-risk facilities to ensure they are well-prepared for state surveys.
This position operates in a consultative capacity and does not entail direct supervisory responsibilities.
Our Ideal Candidates Will Possess:
Graduate of a state approved school of nursing with a bachelor’s degree (BSN) preferred.
Active license in good standing; Registered Nurse.
Experience as a Regional Clinical Nurse Consultant in long-term care/skilled nursing operations.
Long-term care Director of Nursing experience.
Proven outcomes with above average Federal and State survey results.
Superior knowledge of quality assurance and clinical components of the MDS.
Competency with Point Click Care.
Ability to apply the Federal and State regulations and guidelines to day-to-day nursing programs.
Exceptional communication (oral and written), organization and problem-solving skills.
Models’ servant leadership qualities.
Strong computer skills required
