Leidos Defense Manufacturing is seeking an Inventory Specialist to join our team in Huntsville AL. Our team is dedicated to ensuring the efficient management of materials and logistics within the defense sector. We work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment focusing on optimizing inventory control and supply chain processes to support our mission of delivering high-quality defense solutions. Primary Responsibilities

Cycle counting.

Stocking / tracking of components.

Fulfilling requests for materials.

Performing inventory actions using corporate accounting software.

Assembling of kits for manufacturing delivery and pickup of material.

Component serialization / marking.

Supporting materials audits material handling and maintaining cleanliness and organization.

Candidate must be able to demonstrate strong personal organizational skills attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Basic Qualifications

Must have a High School diploma / GED with 2-4 years of relevant inventory control experience.

Must have experience using Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite (Word ExcelPowerPoint and Outlook).

Ability to work with department leadership to contribute to strategic planning and long-term vision for the stockroom team.

Candidate must have a valid drivers license and sufficient driving record to perform delivery and pickup activities.

Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.

Must be able to work overtime as needed.

Must be able to work both independently and in a cohesive team environment.

The candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama AL area.

Must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) Final Secret Clearance OR meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

Deltek CostPoint.

Electronic components handling requirements.

ESD Processes & Procedures.

Electronics kitting requirements.

Implementation of Lot and / or Date code tracking.

Implementation of tracking system for parts that are temporarily located at internal or external assembly locations.

Ability to maintain workplace cleanliness with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Pay Range :

Pay Range $39000.00 - $70500.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other law.
