Responsibilities, including but not limited to:

"Ideal employee" is someone who knows the relevant industry content and can apply that knowledge to complete the tasks of their assigned job role.

A housekeeper and caretaker who is responsible on a professional level for taking care of a building’s general cleanliness. Provide a tidy and sanitary facility for residents. Duties may include cleaning floors, making beds and dusting surfaces throughout a nursing home. The housekeeper oversees maintaining a clean, odor free, and safe environment which feels welcoming for all.

• Be able to perform all functions under your job classification as it pertains to your assigned duties.
• Proven experience as a Cleaner or Housekeeper
• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
• Prioritization and time management skill.

• Working quickly without compromising quality
• Know how to approach residents with dementia.
• Be willing to take on other duties and assignments within the scope of your knowledge and experience.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to take additional training or education, which specific states may require.
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable while handle multiple priorities.
• Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication.
• Competent in organizational and time management skills.
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

· Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday.

· May be necessary to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations.

· Visual and auditory ability sufficient for written and verbal communication.
