STERILE PROCESSING TECHNICIAN

UnaSource Surgery Center in Troy, MI is currently hiring a fulltime Sterile Processing Technician to join our Center.

About the Role :

The Sterile Processing Technician plays a critical role in our outpatient setting by ensuring that all surgical instruments and medical equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, and prepared for use in patient care. This position is essential to maintaining a safe and sterile environment, preventing infections, and supporting successful surgical outcomes. The technician meticulously inspects, assembles, and sterilizes instruments according to established protocols and regulatory standards. They collaborate closely with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely availability of sterile supplies. Ultimately, this role contributes directly to patient safety and the overall efficiency of healthcare delivery.

Minimum Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current C.R.C.S.T. (Certified Registered Central Service Technician)
• Knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection control standards.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain meticulous records.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle instruments safely.
