Data Platform DevOps Engineer

Job DescriptionResponsibilities : Design, implement, and manage automated infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Bicep, and Ansible.Build and maintain CI / CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments using tools like AzureDevOps, fluxCD, ArgoCD or Jenkins.Architect and support scalable, resilient, and secure Azure cloud environments tailored for microservices and cloud-native applications.Automate operational tasks including patching, backups, monitoring, and alerting using scripting and configuration management tools.Integrate infrastructure automation with service management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Azure Monitor, Atlassian ServicedeskTroubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues across compute, storage, networking, and security layers.Implement and manage container orchestration platforms (e.g., AKS / Kubernetes) with automated scaling, monitoring, and logging.Ensure compliance with enterprise security policies and regulatory standards through automated guardrails and policy enforcement.Perform regular performance tuning, cost optimization, and capacity planning across cloud resources.Maintain documentation for infrastructure architecture, automation workflows, and operational procedures.Requirements : 10+ years of professional experience in IT infrastructure,DevOps, or cloud engineering.5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and infrastructure automation.Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, or Ansible for provisioning and configuration management.scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and tooling.Experience with CI / CD tools and practices, including pipeline creation, artifact management, and deployment automation.Deep understanding of Azure services such as AKS, App Services, Functions, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Azure Cache, Storage Accounts, Key Vaults, Application Gateway, Service Bus, and Log Analytics.Solid grasp of cloud networking concepts including VNETs, NSGs, load balancers, private endpoints, private DNS and hybrid connectivity.Proficiency in containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes / AKSExperience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, ELK stackFamiliarity with security and compliance frameworks (e.g., CIS benchmarks, NIST, ISO 27001) and implementation in cloud environments.Strong troubleshooting skills across Linux (Ubuntu / RHEL) including performance and connectivity issues.Experience with identity and access management using Azure Active Directory, RBAC, and managed identities.Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams including developers, security, and operations.
