We are looking for an entry-level accountant to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Parsippany, New Jersey. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in tax compliance, financial reconciliation, and general accounting practices. You will work closely with the tax and accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial data.

Responsibilities :

• Assist with preparing and filing tax documents to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Support the team in processing tax adjustments and managing outgoing mailings.
• Perform bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.
• Conduct account reconciliations to resolve discrepancies and ensure data accuracy.
• Record and maintain accounting entries in accordance with established standards.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to meet reporting deadlines and objectives.
• Utilize Excel for data analysis and reporting tasks.
• Work with Concur to process and manage expenses as required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Familiarity with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Proficiency in performing bank and account reconciliations.
• Basic understanding of tax compliance and income tax regulations.
• Strong knowledge of Excel for data analysis and financial tracking.
• Experience with accounting software such as Concur is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with the team.
