System Administrator

A long-standing domain services company based in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a full-time Systems Administrator to join their growing team. The company, founded in 2003, manages a portfolio of over 4 million domains and handles more than one billion DNS queries daily. Their in-house DNS platform supports over 100,000 concurrent requests per second, combining robust infrastructure with exceptional customer support. This position will focus on system administration, networking, and IT support across their high-availability environment.

This is an opportunity to join a small but highly skilled team of IT professionals where you’ll wear multiple hats across systems, networking, and support. You’ll work with Windows environments, Aruba switches, and Palo Alto firewalls while maintaining and improving the company’s infrastructure. This is an ideal role for a hands-on engineer looking to expand technical depth in both networking and system administration while working in a collaborative and flexible environment.

Required Skills & Experience

• Previous experience as a systems or network administrator
• 5+ years in a server, networking, or infrastructure role, or a relevant degree with 2+ years of experience
• Strong Windows OS management (Windows Server, ADDS, GPO, File Server permissions, PowerShell)
• Proficiency with networking concepts such as TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN / WAN, and NAT
• Experience configuring and managing switches, routers, and firewalls (Aruba, Palo Alto preferred)
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V
• Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity

Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
