Restaurateur / Operating Partner – Chicago Area

Overview

Rehak LLC is seeking a driven, entrepreneurial restaurant leader to oversee daily operations at an established Chicago-area location and partner in growing a multi-unit restaurant group.

This is not a standard GM role — it’s a hands-on opportunity for a proven operator to help run and scale a profitable restaurant business while building toward ownership. The ideal candidate brings both operational excellence and a growth mindset, with the ability to identify, acquire, and expand additional restaurant ventures under the Rehak LLC umbrella.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations, staffing, and profitability for an existing full-service restaurant.

Hire, train, and mentor employees to ensure consistent quality and service.

Manage P&L, budgets, and vendor relationships.

Develop local marketing and community outreach initiatives to drive sales.

Collaborate directly with ownership on new business development and potential acquisitions.

Build systems and culture that support scalable growth across future locations.

Ideal Background

5+ years of restaurant management, franchise ownership, or multi-unit leadership.

Proven success improving operational efficiency and driving revenue growth.

Strong understanding of restaurant finance, staffing, and customer service.

Entrepreneurial mindset with connections in the local foodservice or real estate community.

Based in, or familiar with, the greater Chicago market.

Compensation & Partnership Opportunity

Base salary up to $90,000 , depending on experience.

10% equity participation once profitability thresholds are met.

Performance-based bonuses and future ownership opportunities.

Full-time, approximately 45–50 hours per week.
