NOW HIRING: CRITICAL CARE TRANSPORT NURSES
FULL-TIME and PART-TIME: 12-hour Day
Base Wages: $60 - $83/hour
Seeking Critical Care Ground Transport Registered Nurses with a minimum combination of 2 years recent ER, ICU, Critical Care Transport. Paramedic or Flight RN experience is a plus. Responsible for monitoring and providing care to critically ill and injured patients during inter-facility ground transports alongside two EMT's.

Position Summary:
Critical Care Transport RNs play a pivotal role at Falcon, overseeing the delivery of exceptional patient care in a mobile critical care environment. Providing exceptional healthcare leadership, which is instrumental in ensuring the highest standards of clinical care. This dynamic role collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, implements evidence-based practices, and contributes to the overall enhancement of patient outcomes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as a Critical Care Transport RN, adhering to company policies and procedures while providing exceptional care.
- Complete all required patient charting in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company standards.
- Develop strong rapport with patients, ensuring they receive proper education, understand their care plan, and are informed about goals and outcomes throughout the transport experience.
- Lead teams of EMTs within their scope of care, responding to all patient care needs through appropriate therapeutic standards, including life-saving interventions.
- Knowledgeable about industry standards and best practices, providing suggestions or feedback for the enhancement of medical protocols and guidelines.
- Serve as a role model in communication to patients, EMTs, Dispatch, and other medical professionals, ensuring clear and effective interactions.
- Contribute to the success of Falcon Ambulance by performing any other related duties deemed necessary to meet the needs of the company.
TECHNICAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Maintain certification(s) and licensures consistent with performing job duties and qualification to work in county(s).
- Adhere to company and EMSA policies and procedures.
- Consistently report to work on time prepared to perform duties of position.
- Attend all training, classes, and meetings to maintain compliance and highest standards of care.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, AND WORK EXPERIENCE
- Active State of California RN License
- Valid California Driver's License (CDL)
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS and PALS
- Additional Santa Clara Badge Requirements for working in Santa Clara County
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to pass the Physical Agility Test successfully.
- Perform the physical requirements of the position including: good physical stamina, endurance, and body condition that would not be adversely affected by frequently having to walk, stand, lift, carry, and balance at times.
- Able to lift, drag, hoist, and carry different types of equipment and other objects.
