ASSEMBLER

Spherion Staffing in Sarasota is currently seeking experience assemblers to work with us at a local door manufacturer here in Bradenton!

Schedule : 7am-3 : 30pm - Mon-Fri (with overtime available)

Pay Rate : $17 / hour

This is a TEMPORARY project lasting up to 1 month with the opportunity of staying on with the company permanently.

Responsibilities :

Assembly : Use hand and power tools to assemble door frames, panels, and hardware.

Component Prep : Inspect wood or composite materials for defects and prep them for assembly.

Quality Control : Ensure all doors meet quality standards by checking measurements and alignment.

Material Handling : Move finished products to the staging area and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Safety : Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing required PPE (Safety glasses, ear protection, etc.).

Working hours : 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM

Skills :

Technical Aptitude : Comfort using basic hand tools and measuring tapes.

Physical Stamina : Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs consistently.

Detail Oriented : Ability to follow multi-step instructions and read basic measurements.

Reliability : A track record of being on time and ready to work.

Team Player : Willingness to collaborate with others on the assembly line to meet daily production goals.

Education : No Degree Required

Experience : 0-1 years

Qualifications :

Must have some basic assembly experience using hand tools and power tools.

Must be able to pass a Drug Screen and National Background check.
