UP&S Supervisor

About the Role

As Site Supervisor for manufacturing, you will work on a variety of responsibilities including planning and coordinating activities to meet schedule requirements in a safe manner. Supervises shop employees while evaluating and coaching employees to improve performance and productivity. This role is customer demanding and would work with Sales Representatives to continue to grow the business.

Your Responsibilities

• Schedules and plans service work to meet customer needs and deadlines while maintaining optimal utilization
• Orders parts as required for work orders and ships parts
• Coordinates maintenance of service trucks including DOT inspections, equipment maintenance and repair
• Develops and recommends effective procedures and supporting policies which will help establish and achieve schedules and quality standards at the most favorable cost
• Implements established procedures and policies through effective supervision
• Plans, organizes, and coordinates jobs to maximize production efficiencies and safety
• Keeps Service Operations Manager advised of any safety concerns, quality problems, concerns, delays, etc.
• Suggests methods, improvements or alternate methods and materials to reduce cost and / or improve quality
• Works closely with other members of business unit to meet the units' strategic objectives
• Inputs all appropriate detail in visual and other computer programs as needed to maintain database and produce reports
• Other duties as assigned
