PROJECT COORDINATOR
Store fixture and custom millwork manufacturer is seeking a dedicated, experienced, detail-oriented project coordinator to join our team to oversee millwork projects from start to finish, managing schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure client specifications are met on time and within budget.
Core responsibilities
- Project management : Plan, coordinate, and manage multiple projects, set timelines and monitor progress to ensure timely and budget-conscious completion.
- Client and stakeholder communication : Serve as the main point of contact, maintaining strong relationships and clear communication with clients, architects, contractors, and internal teams.
- Budget and cost control : Develop and manage project budgets, track costs, process billings, and handle change orders.
- Drawing and submittal review : Review architectural and shop drawings to ensure they meet project specifications and standards before client submission.
- Material and resource management : Requisition materials and hardware, coordinate with vendors, and manage material deliveries to meet production schedules.
- On-site coordination : Conduct site visits, verify field measurements, and coordinate with other trades and installation teams to resolve issues and ensure successful installation.
- Production oversight : Work closely with the production team to monitor the fabrication process, identify best practices, and ensure quality standards are maintained.
Essential skills
