Project Engineering Technologist

Overview

The Project Engineer Technologist is responsible for the project engineering designs of Quarterhill tolling and Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) solutions and providing support to project team for the implementation, delivery and commissioning of these solutions in accordance with Quarterhill standard procedures.

Responsibilities

Project Design

• Develop engineering designs of systems comprised of electrical / electronic / mechanical components, sensors, and communications to meet customer requirements and industry standards.
• Produce project documentation including system definitions, site layout and construction drawings, power wiring, site termination drawings, project bills of materials and equipment installation drawings for tolling and ITS solutions.
• Produce design narrative content that describes, at a high level, all aspects of the engineering design for design documentation submittals
