Medical Assistant

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is currently hiring Medical Assistants for an on-site opportunity in Rialto, CA.

This role supports clinical operations in an outpatient healthcare setting.

Pay: $22 to $24/hour

Type: Three-Month Contract

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 or 8:30 AM to 5 or 5:30 PM (8 hours/day, 40 hours/week)

Work Location: Rialto, CA 92376

Primary Responsibilities

· Oversee and participate in day-to-day clinical care of patients

· Perform patient intake, including vital signs, medical history, and medication review

· Coordinate patient care per physician direction, company standards, and policies

· Perform clinical procedures such as injections and ear lavage

· Assist providers with invasive procedures and minor surgeries

· Maintain clinical and exam room logs (including temperature and maintenance logs)

· Submit electronic referrals for additional services

· Enroll patients and respond to messages via the patient portal

· Process medication refills and prior authorizations per protocol

· Make and receive patient phone calls

· Schedule appointments as needed

· Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

· Graduate of a Medical Assistant program or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

· Current CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association - Healthcare Provider)

· Minimum of 1 year of relevant Medical Assistant experience

Pay Details: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour
