Below is a list of your responsibilities as a Behavioral Health Activity Therapist with YesCare:
Develop, implement, monitor and evaluate therapeutic/recreational activity segments of individual program plans to further the comprehensive treatment of patients.
Develop specifically planned goals and objectives to be met with the implementation of therapeutic recreation.
Oversee activities including, but not limited to, individual recreational activities, group recreational activities, exercises, games, sports activities, hobbies, social activities, music, etc.
Document all activities pertaining to therapy conducted and record progress notes in each patient’s mental health record on a regular basis.
Other duties as assigned.
Key Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in psychology or counseling degree required.
Subject to initial and ongoing security clearance requirements.
At least 2 years of experience in mental health.
A background check, security clearance and drug screening are required for this role.
