Morton Buildings, Inc.'s corporate Marketing department, located in Morton, Illinois, is offering a paid student internship during summer 2026. The internship program will provide the student with relevant skills in a variety of marketing systems and programs that support and promote the Morton Buildings brand, including hands-on experience in data analysis, reporting, and marketing performance optimization to turn data into actionable insights that drive real business impact.

This is a paid internship starting at $18.00 per hour.

Essential Functions

• Work directly with a mentor in your field of study.
• Work on a team and independently on key projects.
• Partner directly with Marketing team management on strategy and projects, providing support for Sales Operations and Product Development initiatives.
• Collect, clean, and organize marketing data from various sources (CRM, web analytics, social media, email campaigns).
• Analyze campaign performance and identify trends or opportunities for improvement and collaborate with team members to provide data-driven recommendations.
• Provide updates, written or verbal, on project status to the Marketing team.
• Perform assigned tasks to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures, and standards required for successful performance.
• Participate in related team or project meetings and conference calls.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience

• Targeted Graduation date during the 2026/2027 school year or students completing schooling at the end of 2026 but still needing to satisfy an internship requirement.
• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related discipline.
• Strong interest in marketing analytics and data-driven decision-making.
• Basic knowledge of Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus, along with familiarity with Google Analytics or similar platforms preferred.
• Strong technical and organizational skills in addition to excellent written and verbal communication skills in a professional environment.
• A high level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm, and confidentiality.
• Must be highly motivated with the ability to meet daily deadlines.
• Self-starter with a positive, willing to learn attitude.
• Able to work independently, as well as able to work well in a team setting.
• Service minded with excellent communication and solid documentation skills.
