Job Summary

The Shipping & Receiving Clerk plays a critical role in managing the flow of goods in and out of the facility. This position is responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, and documenting incoming shipments; preparing and processing outgoing orders; maintaining inventory records; and ensuring timely fulfillment of customer and internal requests. The role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency with warehouse systems, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.

The employee will daily lift and / or move tools and equipment up to 10 pounds; will frequently lift and / or move tools and equipment up to 10-25 pounds; and will occasionally lift and / or move tools and equipment greater than 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Employees may work with co-workers’ side-by-side with a moderate level of activity being performed. Exposure to high voltage AC / DC power is very common in many work environments. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to high.
