CDL-A Truck Driver
Weekly Pay – $1,400 to $1,550
Domicile Area:
Baltimore, MD 21201
Position Overview
Experienced CDL-A drivers looking for consistent miles and efficient freight movement will find this operation built around keeping trucks moving. Freight runs across the lower 48 states and focuses on maintaining strong weekly mileage through consistent dispatch planning and reliable freight lanes.
Loads consist primarily of dry van shipments that do not require drivers to handle freight. Most loads move through drop and hook operations, allowing drivers to transition quickly between stops without extended wait times at shipping facilities.
This structure allows drivers to focus on driving while dispatch teams coordinate freight flow and trip planning.
Home Time
Drivers receive two full days of home time every other week. This schedule helps maintain steady earnings while still providing regular opportunities to reset and spend time at home between runs.
Equipment
Drivers operate late-model automatic tractors from Freightliner, Volvo, and Peterbilt. Equipment is maintained on structured service schedules designed to support long-haul reliability and consistent road performance.
Compensation
Weekly Pay – $1,400 to $1,550
A minimum pay protection program helps stabilize weekly earnings if weather delays or freight disruptions temporarily reduce available miles.
Drivers also receive a $1,000 sign-on bonus along with $1,000 orientation pay during onboarding.
Driver Requirements
To qualify, drivers must meet one of the following experience levels:
Six months of CDL-A experience within the last two years
One year of CDL-A experience within the last three years
Benefits
Drivers have access to medical, dental, and vision insurance along with 401K and profit sharing. Additional coverage includes disability protection, life insurance, and vacation pay to support time away from the road.
