Personal Care Assistant

Full-time Role: Personal Care Assistant

Compensation: $14 - $15.25 per hour

Duration: 118.90 Hours Weekly

Job Location: York, Pennsylvania

Role Description: The Personal Care Assistant is responsible for providing compassionate care and support to individuals needing assistance. This role includes various duties related to personal care, Lighthouse-keeping tasks, medication reminding, mobility support, and helping individuals navigate stairs.

Responsibilities:

• Meal Preparation
• Housework/Chores
• Managing Medications
• Shopping
• Transportation
• Locomotion
• Stairs assistance

Requirements:

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Caregiver, Personal Care Assistant, or similar role.
- Must pass a comprehensive background check.
- Demonstrated ability to pay close attention to detail and follow care plans accurately.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a friendly and compassionate demeanor.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Physical ability to perform the position's duties, including lifting and transferring clients if needed.
- A commitment to providing high-quality, empathetic care to individuals in need.
