Electrical Testing Specialist I

In your role as an Electrical Testing Specialist I, you will be expected to :
- Conduct visual inspections of products before testing to ensure compliance with established standards.
- Inspect testing equipment and environments to confirm proper functioning.
- Safely prepare products for testing by making the necessary connections.
- Identify and separate non-conforming parts.
- Accurately document your actions by completing production and quality assurance forms.
- Maintain a clean and safe working space by adhering to all regulations and procedures.
- Utilize resources effectively to achieve job results.
- Support team efforts by helping train colleagues in testing processes as required.
- Verify that all work meets compliance requirements before passing it to the next stage of operation.
We seek candidates who :
Possess a High School diploma, GED, or relevant work experience combined with skills development.Ideally bring 0-1 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.Can safely operate small hand and power tools.Are proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and Bills of Material.Have basic computer skills.Can read and understand verbal instructions in English.Physical requirements of the role include :
The job classification is Medium - Heavy Physical Demand Level (PDL) per the US Dept of Labor.Lifting Requirements :Occasional lifting of up to 75 pounds with assistance.
Frequent lifting of up to 40 pounds.Occasional carrying of up to 40 pounds for distances up to 25 feet.Frequent pushing / pulling of up to 40 pounds.Occasional pushing / pulling of over 40 pounds with assistance.Postural Demands :Continuous standing.
Continuous walking.Frequent bending / stooping.Frequent squatting / kneeling.Frequent lifting activities.Other physical activities :Continuous gripping, manipulation, and fingering.
