A Finance / Trust Account VA's role is supportive, focused on transaction recording, reconciliations, admin, and reporting prep. The licensed accountant / tax agent remains responsible for regulatory submissions and compliance.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, spreadsheets, and reconciliations
- Assist with payroll processing and expense tracking
- Monitor budgets and forecast cash flow
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Support in bookkeeping, data entry, and other administrative finance tasks
