Job Summary: Operator USW in Omaha, NE with responsibilities also in Irvington, NE. The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday, dayshift with some OT and callout. This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, and the union bidding process applies. Union posting guidelines outlined in the current collective bargaining agreement will be applied prior to considering external candidates.
Job Profile Summary: Maintain the pipeline and its supporting operational and monitoring equipment in compliance with regulations, company work practices, and safety standards. Ensure the reliability of equipment, and accurate measurement and quality of product transported through the system. Develop a positive working relationship with carriers.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Education: H.S. Diploma or equivalent required. Associate's Degree in Petroleum Tech or related field preferred.
Work Experience: Three years' experience in a related field preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to have regular attendance. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing in English with co-workers, supervisors, internal and external customers. Ability to work in stressful conditions. Ability to adapt and respond in changing circumstances. Ability to use a personal computer with the Windows(R) operating system to complete time sheets, send and receive email, and access information posted on the Company's intranet. Ability to work on both a scheduled and call-out basis, as needed. Ability to work at the assigned job site.
Licenses and Certifications: None required.
