Vice President – Real Estate and Portfolio Operations

A fast-growing private real estate group is hiring a Vice President to take full operational command across a portfolio of Class A commercial assets, luxury experiential properties, and new development projects. This role is designed for a proven senior operator who can bring structure, discipline, and Fortune 500-level execution into an entrepreneurial, high-performance environment.
The Vice President will work directly with the founder and executive team, with full responsibility for elevating operations, financial reporting, tenant experience, service standards, and organizational performance across the company.
This position requires exceptional ownership, presence, and the ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
Build, implement, and enforce SOPs, operating systems, workflows, and reporting structures across all properties.Transform the organization into a high-accountability, data-driven, Fortune 500-style operation.Lead all property-level operations, ensuring standards, service, and execution are consistently elevated.Financial Oversight
Own financial reporting across the portfolio including P&L oversight, CAM reconciliations, variance reports, forecasting, and budget discipline.Ensure real-time financial accuracy and executive-ready reporting.Capital Projects and Property Improvements
Oversee tenant buildouts, renovations, repairs, and sub–1 million dollar capital improvement projects.Manage project timelines, cost controls, contractor performance, and quality standards.Leasing and Tenant Lifecycle Support
Support the full leasing lifecycle : lease execution, handover, tenant coordination, buildout oversight, and operational readiness.Ensure seamless tenant experience from signing to opening.Architecture and Technical Review
Review architectural plans and construction drawings to identify operational issues, inefficiencies, or risks.Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project managers to resolve concerns.Luxury Service Standards
Embed elevated hospitality principles into the commercial real estate environment.Ensure the company’s brand experience is reflective of high-end, five-star service expectations.Team Leadership
Lead and develop all property management teams, engineering teams, and operational departments.Establish hiring standards, performance expectations, team structure, and accountability systems.Maintain morale, discipline, and culture in a fast-paced founder-driven environment.What Success Looks Like
