Real Estate Associate Attorney – New York

Direct Counsel is seeking a Real Estate Associate Attorney to join a well-regarded law firm with a strong national presence. This role will be based in the firm's New York office and offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated commercial leasing matters alongside a team of highly experienced real estate attorneys.

Key Responsibilities :

Draft and negotiate a broad range of commercial real estate documents, with a focus on office, retail, and industrial leasing.

Collaborate closely with partners and other team members, while managing individual responsibilities and client relationships.

Assist with real estate acquisitions, dispositions, financing, title and survey review, and general transactional due diligence.

Exposure to data center leasing is a plus, though not required.

Qualifications :

4–5 years of significant commercial real estate transactional experience, with an emphasis on leasing.

Strong writing, organizational, and analytical skills.

Team-oriented with the ability to work independently.

Major law firm experience preferred.

High academic achievement.

Admission to the New York State Bar.

Compensation :

Anticipated base salary range : $280,000 to $325,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
