Institutional Student Worker - Culinary Arts & Hospitality

Job Summary:

Student worker will work closely with chef instructors to prep ingredients for production lab classes.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Ability to take direction from chef instructor(s)
Proper knife skills
Ability to lift 40LBS, bend, twist
Holds current Servsafe Sanitation Certificate
Ability to stand for extended amounts of time

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Prefer current culinary student.

Essential Duties:

1. Follow daily production sheet
2. Cut, measure & distribute required ingredients
3. Communicate effectively with instructor chefs
4. Setup and sanitize work area
5. Breakdown work area, sanitize and store equipment
6. Knowledge/adherence to sanitation regulations
