Job Summary: The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic ultrasound examinations provides technical support to radiologists and ensures high-quality imaging while maintaining patient safety and equipment standards.

Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to departmental protocols.
Prepare patients for procedures and explain exam processes clearly.
Operate adjust and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal image quality.
Capture and transmit images to PACS for physician interpretation.
Maintain equipment cleanliness and ensure adequate supply availability.
Assist with mentoring and orientation of new ultrasound staff as needed.
Support basic scheduling and coordination activities related to ultrasound exams.

Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
Experience performing routine diagnostic and breast imaging procedures.
Experience using GE E9 ultrasound equipment.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
Effective communication and patient interaction skills.
Proficiency with basic computer applications and clinical systems.

Education
Associates Degree in Diagnostic Medical Technology OR
High School Diploma/GED with successful completion of an accredited Ultrasound/Sonography training program

Certifications
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) ARDMS
AHA BLS
