Mount Alverna Village offers exciting PRN positions for Licensed Practical Nurses. This vibrant senior living community in Parma, Ohio, is part of Franciscan Ministries and provides a variety of senior lifestyle options, including independent living, memory support assisted living, and skilled nursing / long-term care. Our onsite rehabilitation clinic enhances the quality of life for residents and patients through inpatient and outpatient therapy services.

Position Summary :

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide direct nursing care to residents while also consulting on health-related concerns within the community.

Key Responsibilities :

Deliver personalized nursing care to residents.

Supervise Nursing Assistants to maintain high-quality care standards.

Manage the admission, transfer, and discharge processes for residents.

Communicate changes in resident conditions to physicians or other healthcare professionals.

Respond rapidly to emergencies.

Perform additional duties as assigned and comply with policies and procedures.

Position Requirements :

Education : Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing

Licenses / Certifications : Active LPN license for practice in the state of Ohio

Experience : Minimum of 1 year in nursing

Skills and Abilities :

Demonstrate compassion and empathy when interacting with residents.
