SUMMARY : Responsible to the Nursing Director and under the direction of an RN / Charge Nurse, the Emergency department Technician, in a holistic manner, will assist in the care of patients both physiologically and psychologically by providing basic nursing care. He / She will also be crosstrained to perform secretarial tasks.
EXPERIENCE : Emergency Department experience preferred. Hospital experience within last 3 years required; Clerical / secretarial experience in a hospital, preferably in an Emergency Department.
OTHER : Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to multi-task. Basic Computer Skills.
LICENSE / CERT : Required : BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association), CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant), EMT - State of Missouri
EDUCATION : Required : High School or Equivalent
