A Day in the Life

As a Manufacturing Technician with the Medtronic Energy and Component Center you will play a critical role in ensuring the availability repair and timely preventative maintenance of equipment utilized in the production of batteries used in life-saving cardiac devices. You will work within a dynamic team of production assemblers engineers and other technician colleagues to achieve daily manufacturing goals and continuously improve our operations.

This role is for an overnight shift position : Sun-Thu10pm-6am and requires the ability to work within a cleanroom environment.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Devises fabricates installs tests and repairs mechanical equipment and systems involving the movement of physical components in the manufacturing area.
• Assisting engineers with developing technical solutions related to the operation and performance of devices and systems.
• Installs repairs and upgrades components of mechanical devices and systems in the manufacturing area.
• Devises fabricates and assembles new or modified mechanical components for machinery and equipment.
• Conducts quality assurance / control tests and procedures.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD) : $50400.00 - $75600.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Operations Incentive Plan (OIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience certification / education market conditions and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
